Adding a New SAP Application Server. To create a shortcut for connecting to a new SAP application server, follow the procedure below − Click on the shortcut icon SAP Logon from the desktop and the Logon pad will open as shown in the following screenshot. Click the ‘New' button. Click on the 'Next' button as shown here.
- Go to the SAP Cloud Platform cockpit and open the extension subaccount. For more information, see related link. Choose Security OAuth. Choose the Clients tab. Choose Register New Client. The ID is automatically generated. Enter the name of the client as servicecenter.
- Create the logical system name for the central system in all child system. If your new client no is 800 and SID(system ID) is ECC then logical system will be ECCCLNT800. Steps to Create a New Client in SAP To make a new client from SAP menu - Administration - Administration- Client Administration or SAP T-code SCC4- Client Maintenance.
- Prior creating a New Client in SAP, we have to create a new logical system. Step 1: Run transaction code BD54: it is used to create logical system. Step 2: Now click on New Entries, and enter your logical system details.

- Open SAP Crystal Reports 2011/2013 client tool
- Create New Connection > SAP Table, Cluster, or Function
- Choose the appropriate SAP system.
- Set the client, username, password and then finish
- Click + to expand the DD folder (Data Dictionary)
- Select a SAP ECC table
- Select the desired fields from the table
- Generate your reports
*Note that before you can design or process reports with the openSQL drivers, the corresponding transport file must be installed on the SAP system

A client is an independent business unit. It holds companies own data. SAP provides three standard clients: 000-Master Client , 001-Reference Client, 066-Early Watch Client.
We can create a number of clients in SAP (from 000-999 except 000, 001 & 066). Follow the below steps to create a new client-300.
Go to Tx-SCC4
It will bring you to the initial screen of SAP clients.To create a new client click on EDIT button.
Select Continue.

Here you need to provide the client number ,client description ,city,logical system and standard currency as shown in the screenshot.
Note: We can create a logical system in Tx-BD54. Here only we can choose logical system which we already created.
Now fill the client role as per your requirement. If you have development system then make it as customizing, in case of production make production and test for test system.
Now click on SAVE button.
